1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Scalpo ("Company", "we", "us", "our") regarding your access to and use of the Scalpo mobile application and related web portals.
By accessing, installing, or using Scalpo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the application.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum legal age of digital majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use Scalpo. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you possess the full legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
3. Account Registration & Security
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account details updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully within all interactive features, including community forums, group channels, and 1-on-1 mentorship appointments. You agree not to harass, impersonate, abuse, or defame other members or mentors.
5. App Usage & License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and execute the Scalpo mobile application on your personal devices solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
6. Courses and Educational Content
All course materials, video lectures, coding exercises, syllabus notes, and curriculum structures provided within Scalpo are for educational and informational purposes only. Completing a course does not confer academic degrees, formal licensing, or employment guarantees.
7. Mentorship Services
Mentors listed on Scalpo operate as independent subject-matter professionals. While Scalpo reviews mentor backgrounds, the Company is not responsible for individual mentor advice or opinions. Mentorship sessions must be conducted strictly within platform-provided communication tools.
8. Community Features
Scalpo provides public and cohort-restricted chat channels. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, or moderate community submissions to ensure compliance with our safety standards and community guidelines.
9. Trading & Financial Information Disclaimer
Any market telemetry, trade journaling features, strategy exercises, or economic information provided within Scalpo are strictly for educational and self-study purposes. Scalpo is NOT a registered financial advisor, broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor. Scalpo does NOT provide investment advice or guarantee any trading profits.
Trading financial markets involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance examples or educational simulations do not guarantee future results. You assume full personal responsibility for any financial decisions you make outside of the platform.
10. Subscriptions and Payments
Scalpo may offer recurring subscriptions or in-app purchases for access to advanced cohorts or mentorship booking credits. All purchases are processed and billed directly through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account. Subscription renewal and cancellation must be managed through your respective device app store settings.
11. Intellectual Property
The Scalpo name, logo, software code, UI designs, animations, and proprietary educational materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Scalpo Technologies Inc. You may not duplicate, reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute platform assets without prior written authorization.
12. User Generated Content
You retain ownership of questions, project submissions, journal notes, and comments you post to Scalpo. However, by posting content to public community areas, you grant Scalpo a worldwide, royalty-free license to display and transmit such content to other users within the service.
13. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Using automated scraping, bots, or crawlers to extract platform data or course contents;
- Uploading malicious code, trojans, or attempting to compromise server security;
- Promoting unauthorized commercial promotions, spam, or financial schemes;
- Violating copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secret rights of others.
14. Third-Party Services & Links
Our application may contain links or integrations with third-party tools (e.g. video conferencing SDKs, cloud document repositories). We do not control or endorse the content or policies of third-party platforms.
15. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that jeopardizes community safety or service integrity.
16. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SCALPO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
18. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. We will provide notification of significant modifications by updating the Effective Date or via in-app notification. Your continued use of Scalpo following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located within that jurisdiction.
